One of the films for which he has signed up to play the lead role has been titled as 'Komban' and the film will be directed by Muthaiah the director of Sasikumar-Lakshmi Menon starrer 'Kutti Puli'. Regarding the heroine of 'Komban' it was being reported that the team is in talks with Lakshmi Menon but now sources reveal that Sri Divya of 'Varuthapadadha Valibar Sangam' fame will be pairing up with the 'Paiyaa' actor for the first time. It is to be noted that Sridivya already has quite a few projects like 'Taana' with Sivakarthikeyan, 'Eetti' with Atharvaa, a yet to be titled film with Vikram Prabhu and 'Pencil' with G.V.Prakash in her kitty. Earlier it was reported that after finishing his film with Ranjith, Karthi will take up Director Lingasamy's 'Enni Ezhu Naal'. We are awaiting the confirmation on which of the two films will the actor start working first.
